Why a blog?

I give up, easily.
Anything. Everything.
Because of a lack of confidence.

People won't like me, laugh at me, think I'm stupid.
That is why my entire life I hid away, in dark clothes.
Black, dark blue or grey.
Anything to make me invisible.

I never used make-up in high school because I didn't know how.
My hair was always the same because I had no idea what to do with it (ponytail, tightly pulled back, in case you're curious).

When I was 18 I got married and I wanted a change.
I wanted the real me to come out.
But I still had no clue how.

At 26 I started this blog.
So that I wouldn't give up, wouldn't forget where I was going.

This is my journey, feel free to walk it with me, every step of the way.
All my failures, all my mistakes.
But also my winnings, my happy moments and my bliss.
I'll be honored to have you with me.

Hi everyone,

I feel a bit obsessed about my hair since it turned orange, I try a lot of things to get it softer, smoother or shinier, like it helps to cover up the color...

I bought 2 new products, both from John Frieda, one is a shampoo to give more volume and the other one is an intense mask to repair damaged hair.

The shampoo gives a luxurious feeling just by looking at the bottle but when you wash you're hair with it you can really feel the volume getting in your hair, it's like it doubles in size!

No need to say that I love it, right?

The only problem I have with it is that it dries out my skin which evolves into dandruff... Not sexy and very itchy...

Since I've been trying it out for a couple of weeks now I found out that the solution is to wash your hair regularly with it (read like daily) but I really don't have the discipline for that (or the time with two children at home for two months, yes, summer-holiday has started) so today I tried by washing it first with a head and shoulders shampoo and then the volume shampoo, let's hope that it makes a difference.

The mask, ow the mask, I have nothing but praising to do about that!

It makes my hair soft, shiny, healthy... In other words I absolutely love it!

Never put a hair mask on the roots of your hair, it will make it look greasy within a day, always focus on the hair ends and leave it in for at least 3 minutes or whatever the package is telling you (yes, I know, it seems to last forever but you really feel the difference if you leave it in for the right amount of time).
