Why a blog?

I give up, easily.
Anything. Everything.
Because of a lack of confidence.

People won't like me, laugh at me, think I'm stupid.
That is why my entire life I hid away, in dark clothes.
Black, dark blue or grey.
Anything to make me invisible.

I never used make-up in high school because I didn't know how.
My hair was always the same because I had no idea what to do with it (ponytail, tightly pulled back, in case you're curious).

When I was 18 I got married and I wanted a change.
I wanted the real me to come out.
But I still had no clue how.

At 26 I started this blog.
So that I wouldn't give up, wouldn't forget where I was going.

This is my journey, feel free to walk it with me, every step of the way.
All my failures, all my mistakes.
But also my winnings, my happy moments and my bliss.
I'll be honored to have you with me.

Tommy who..?

Tonight was the night.
The big event I was waiting for.

After trying out half my wardrobe (too wide, too small, too boring, too old,...) I decided to go with a ripped jeans, a black top and a beige shirt, loose, over it.

Pictures of the outfit have all failed a bit but I'll post pictures of it all in my next post.
It was a cold night so I wore a beige coat from Zara on top, wich made the shirt too long, you could see it come from under my coat... (I hate that, finally having an outfit and then you can't find a coat to match it...)

From a far we could see a big flag with the name of the magazine on it (where I won the tickets), the light was on and the store was very chique and cozy.
I felt a bit out of place because we were the second guests to arrive, so there was more staff then customers.

We strolled around a bit and admired some great clothes, colorfull and luxurious materials were glancing at us around the entire store.
After two rounds of that we were ready for something more.

Other guests had arrived but it still wasn't a crowd.
Some cava was pulled out and a little snack.

After another stroll we understood that this was it.

We decided to leave and go to the movies.

All my stress, all my worries, all for nothing.
Sure, some people looked better then me but what does it matter?
It was the store who needed me to buy their clothes.

Which we didn't, we bought two tickets for the movie "About time" and we absolutly loved it.
